Congratulations!! It's graduation time for alot of families out here in the Inland Empire. This is a time when parents are particularly proud of their kids. All their achievements throughout the year leads to this great moment, graduation.

From pre-school to high school, I know everyone is happy to be out and on vacation. It's the time where most young adults get a taste of the "real world". Some of them will go straight to the workforce and others will continue on with their education. Some of them will even take a break from everything and do nothing.  Hopefully only for a short time. Whatever the case maybe, there is nothing wrong with any of those choices.

Our kids, that we hoped will never grow up, just did. My oldest son just graduated from Etiwanda High School and is on his way to college. He is the second of my five kids to graduate. My oldest daughter graduated last year. She took some time off and now she is working those eight hour shifts. It's funny to get home and hear her say, I'm tired and I'm going to bed.  At 8pm?? What??

I know all parents want the best for their kids.  What do you think is best for a high school gratuate? Work, continue school, or just do nothing?
