Wow, summer is almost here. As you already know, summer starts on June 21st. It seems that every year, summer comes a whole lot faster than it did when we were kids. As kids, summer was the time when the electricity and water bills in our households went way up. Not knowing the difference, playing with the water hose all day, caused our parents bills to do that.

Today, that means that for those of us living in the Inland Empire, we will use our water and AC a whole lot more than we normally do. Both of those equal  higher bills. Now as parents, we know what it's like to pay those high bills during summer. Not fun at all.

With most kids on vacation from school, families are planning their summer vacation. We go camping, visit family or enjoy state beaches for a week. What are your plans? And, do you go on vacation during the summer or winter break? Or, do you do both?
